The whole market on one screen, grouped by sector.
The heat map draws about 1,500 US stocks as tiles grouped by sector, sized by market cap and coloured by today’s move or the 1-year return. Switch to your own holdings and the tiles resize to your position weights. Next to it, a sortable table and a sectors view cover the same universe in rows.
A list of tickers hides the shape of the day
A gainers list tells you which names moved, not whether the whole sector moved with them or whether the move was in a company large enough to matter. A treemap answers both at a glance — as long as the tile sizes are right. One wrongly-sized tile, such as a foreign listing with a mismatched market cap, distorts the whole picture.
Sector treemap, sized and coloured with care
Tiles are laid out as a squarified treemap grouped by sector, sized by market cap, and coloured by today’s percent change or the 1-year return. The colour scale is clamped at ±52% so one outlier does not wash out everything else. The universe is about 1,500 US stocks seeded from the Dow 30, S&P 100, Nasdaq-100, S&P 500, S&P MidCap 400 and S&P SmallCap 600. During market hours an intraday price overlay refreshes about every 2 minutes, and stale quotes are hatched.
Your holdings, and a trust check on size
“My Holdings” mode sizes tiles by your position weights; in market mode, the tickers you own are highlighted. Stocks whose market cap failed a trust check — typically foreign ADR or OTC mismatches — are left out of the sizing and named in the footer, rather than drawn silently at the wrong size.
All Stocks table and sectors view
The All Stocks table covers the same universe with Most Active, Top Gainers and Top Losers views; it is sortable and searchable, with saved column presets for Overview, Technicals, Valuation and Analyst, and a Tradune Grade column. The Sectors page shows 1-month leading and lagging sectors and relative strength. Market prices are licensed data, so they appear inside the app after sign-in, not on this site.

Frequently asked
What does the heat map show?
About 1,500 US stocks as tiles grouped by sector. A tile’s size is the company’s market cap and its colour is either today’s percent change or the 1-year return — you pick which.
Can I see my own portfolio as a heat map?
Yes. “My Holdings” mode sizes each tile by its weight in your portfolio. In market mode, the stocks you own are highlighted.
Why is a stock missing from the map?
Either it is outside the tracked universe, or its reported market cap failed a trust check (common with foreign ADRs and OTC listings). Those are listed in the footer instead of being drawn at a size that could be off by a large multiple.
How current are the colours?
During US market hours the price overlay refreshes about every 2 minutes. Tiles whose quote is stale are hatched so you can tell them apart.
Is a red or green sector a signal?
No. The heat map shows what already happened to prices. It does not predict what happens next and is not a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
