Your portfolio’s paycheck, tracked and projected.
For income investors, the dividends are the point — but they’re scattered across dozens of pay dates and easy to lose track of. Tradune pulls your holdings' income into one view: what you’ve received, what’s coming, how it compounds, how well each payer is covered, and what option premium your shares could generate.
Income is the goal, but it’s hard to see
Your dividends arrive in a trickle across the year, from different holdings on different schedules. Without one place to gather them, it’s hard to answer simple questions: how much income am I actually generating, is it growing, and how much of it rests on a payout the company can barely cover?
Track, forecast and follow the calendar
Log the dividends you receive and Tradune projects forward income from your current holdings, with upcoming ex-dividend and pay dates in one calendar. Yield-on-cost uses the same FIFO, LIFO or average replay as the Portfolio page, so the income figure and the P&L figure agree on what each share cost you. The snowball view shows how reinvested dividends compound over time.
A dividend safety score that shows its gaps
The Dividend Safety score reads payout-ratio and balance-sheet factors for each payer. When a factor has no data, it is excluded from both the score and the maximum and shown as "not measured" — so a score out of a smaller measured maximum is visibly a partial read, not a quiet zero. Yields are sanity-checked too: a provider yield that disagrees with the dividend rate divided by the price by more than 2× is withheld, yields above 25% are dropped, and a rate quoted in a different currency from the price is blocked.
Income Lab: covered calls and cash-secured puts
For each symbol you hold, Income Lab lists covered-call and cash-secured-put candidates per expiry. The annualised yield column is a linear 365-divided-by-days-to-expiry scaling of the premium, and the page says so: it is arithmetic on today’s quote, not an expected return, and it ignores assignment, early exercise and what the stock does in between.
What you get

- Dividend calendar (ex-dates & pay dates) and reinvestment snowball
- Yield-on-cost on the same FIFO / LIFO / average basis as your P&L
- Dividend Safety score out of a measured maximum — unmeasured factors shown, not zeroed
- Yield sanity checks: 2× disagreement withheld, >25% dropped, currency mismatches blocked
- Income Lab: covered-call and cash-secured-put candidates per held symbol and expiry
Frequently asked
What does the dividend tracker do?
It gathers the income from your holdings into one view — dividends received, projected forward income, and the upcoming payment calendar — so your portfolio’s cash flow is easy to see.
Can it tell me if a dividend is safe?
It shows a Dividend Safety score built from payout-ratio and balance-sheet factors. It cannot tell you a dividend will be paid: boards cut dividends for reasons no ratio captures. Factors without data are marked "not measured" and left out of the maximum, so you can see how complete each score is.
Why is a yield missing for one of my holdings?
Because a provider figure failed a sanity check. If the reported yield disagrees with the dividend rate divided by the price by more than 2×, or is above 25%, or the rate and price are in different currencies, Tradune shows nothing rather than a number it cannot stand behind.
Is the Income Lab annualised yield what I would earn?
No. It scales one premium linearly to a year (365 ÷ days to expiry). It is not an expected return: it ignores assignment, early exercise, repeated rolls and the stock’s own move. Options carry risks that the table does not model.
Is this advice?
No. It is an income-tracking and research tool, not a recommendation to buy or sell any stock or to write any option.
