Every Form 4, filterable, with the filing one click away.
Company insiders report their trades to the SEC on Form 4. Tradune stores those filings across its tracked universe and lets you slice them: who bought or sold, in what role, under a pre-arranged plan or not, and for how much — with every row linked to the actual document on SEC EDGAR.
Most “insider buying” isn’t buying
A raw Form 4 feed mixes open-market purchases with stock grants, option exercises, shares withheld for tax and gifts. Read carelessly, an executive receiving an award looks like an executive buying. And a total that silently skips trades with no reported price can point in the wrong direction. The filings are public; reading them correctly is the work.
A feed you can filter on what matters
Filter the global feed on the server by side (buy or sell, by exact Form 4 transaction code), role (officer, director, 10% owner), derivative Table II lines, the Form 4 Rule 10b5-1 checkbox (checked, not checked, or unknown), form type, date range and minimum value. Rows with an undisclosed price are left out of value filters rather than counted as $0. Search a symbol to open its drill-down: a cluster read when at least two distinct insiders are active, 52-week and 200-day price context, a 180-day open-market timeline, monthly net open-market dollars and a card per filing.
The whole filing, and codes read correctly
Each row expands to the full filing: direct or indirect ownership, 10b5-1 status, reporter CIK, accession number, derivative exercise price and expiry, footnotes, and a link to the SEC EDGAR document. Transaction codes P, S, A, M, F and G are colour-coded as buy or sell only when the line is open-market — grants, awards, tax withholding and gifts are never shown as buys. When a cluster includes buys with an undisclosed value, the detector says the net is incomplete instead of implying a direction.
Insider Radar for the stocks you own
Insider Radar checks for new open-market buys on the symbols you hold or watch about every 2 minutes between 06:00 and 22:00 ET, and sends a Telegram message when one is $100,000 or more — at most one per symbol every 6 hours. Filings come from the SEC EDGAR API under a declared User-Agent at a governed 8 requests per second, snapshotted nightly; no page load triggers a live EDGAR call. The data is public domain, which is why the public insider hub and the logged-out demo show the same Form 4 data.

Frequently asked
What is a Form 4?
A filing that officers, directors and 10%-plus owners of a US public company must submit to the SEC, generally within two business days of a change in their ownership. It lists each transaction with a code — P for an open-market purchase, S for a sale, A for a grant, M for an option exercise, F for shares withheld for tax, G for a gift.
What does the “10b5-1 box” on a Form 4 mean?
A Rule 10b5-1 plan is a trading arrangement set up in advance. Form 4s filed from April 1, 2023 carry a checkbox the filer uses to indicate that a transaction was made under a plan intended to satisfy Rule 10b5-1(c). Tradune shows whether the box was checked; a blank box does not prove that no plan exists. Where the filing predates the checkbox or the box could not be read, Tradune marks it unknown rather than guessing.
Why isn’t my stock’s net insider figure shown?
If any trade in the window was reported without a price, the net cannot be computed: an unpriced sale would pull the total down by an unknown amount. Tradune says the net is incomplete instead of printing a partial sum that could have the wrong sign.
Where does the data come from?
SEC EDGAR, the SEC’s public filing system, via its official API. Form 4 data is public domain; every row links to the original document so you can check it yourself.
Is an insider buy a signal to buy the stock?
No. Insider transactions are public disclosures, not recommendations. Insiders buy and sell for many reasons — diversification, taxes, liquidity, pre-arranged plans — and a purchase says nothing certain about future performance.
